Company Profile

Message from the President

We Are Creating Cars Of The Future

I am Jun Kurono, President and Representative Director of Yahagi Industries Co., Ltd.

Since our establishment in 1947, we have been engaged in the manufacturing of automobile parts and the development of automobile bodies. While there are many automotive-related companies in Aichi Prefecture, Yahagi's major attribute is its one-stop production capability for prototype body development.
We have the machinery for all processes and meet high appearance and strength standards. We are particularly proud of the fact that we have been involved in prototyping the bodies of generations of famous Toyota cars and played a part in bringing them to the world.
We can also respond to small lot regular and mass production according to the customer's needs. In particular, we are constantly enhancing our daily small lot regular production, focusing on light weight, high quality, and quick delivery times. Skilled craftsmen are the core of Yahagi's manufacturing. As the number of craftsmen who can handle everything from data to processing and assembly is decreasing, we strive to continue to pass on our advanced technical abilities.

As you are aware, the automobile industry is at a once-in-a-century turning point as people are eschewing cars. We’re often asked why we still compete in the industry under these circumstances. However, based on the spirit of craftsmanship, cultivated since the days of manual labor, and our experience in dealing with cars with sincerity, now is the time to take on the challenge of doing something that only Yahagi can do.

One such project is "Vision 35," which aims to utilize the company's prototyping technology to tackle new fields by 2035. Specifically, the company is striving to innovate the industry by modifying existing cars to create prototypes and devising ways to utilize Yahagi's technical capabilities in areas other than vehicles.

The automobile industry is changing at a dizzying pace, but we will continue to move forward, valuing the old and the new, with the flexibility of a small plant and the strength to meticulously develop the next generation of cars. Further, in line with our company motto, "Harmony," we would like to connect not only with our employees, but also with our customers and the community in harmony. We appreciate your continued support for Yahagi Industries.

President and Representative Director, Jun Kurono,
